Warranty for Shoes

Have you purchased shoes from us that have developed a fault or damage within the warranty period? Generally, according to the Consumer Purchases Act § 27, you have the right to file a warranty claim within 2 years, but the claim must be due to a manufacturing defect or a fault that was present at the time of purchase.

What is covered by the warranty?

✔️ Manufacturing defects – such as stitching issues, faulty bonding, or material defects.
✔️ Shoes that do not function as expected under normal use.

What is NOT covered by the warranty?

Normal wear and tear from use over time, including:

  • Worn-out soles, heels, or holes in the shoes.
  • Cushioning that deteriorates over time.
  • Color transfer from the lining/leather onto socks.
  • Faded color or small cracks in the material due to natural aging.

Damage caused by incorrect use or external factors, such as:

  • Holes or tears caused by external wear.
  • Damage due to improper maintenance.

Important information about leather shoes

Leather is a natural material that changes over time. Small wrinkles, color variations, and a softer texture are a normal part of leather aging and are not considered a valid reason for a warranty claim. To maintain quality, we recommend regular care with shoe cream, impregnation, and proper storage.

Shoes with rubber soles do not tolerate heated floors well over time. If shoes are dried on heated floors, the rubber may crack. Leather is a natural material that requires regular care to prevent it from drying out, cracking, or losing its color.

How to make a claim:

Send an email to hello@monofoo.com with the following information:

  • Order number or receipt.
  • Photos of the defect/damage (both shoes from above, the outsole, and a close-up of the damage).
  • A brief description of the issue.

Our customer service team will assess your claim and get back to you as soon as possible.

If the claim is approved, you may receive repair, replacement, or a refund, depending on the nature of the defect.

If the issue is covered under warranty, we will first attempt to repair the shoes, as we do not support a “throwaway” culture.
